"Firsts"

Here's another blog post that I am catching up on from the past. I am calling this our "firsts" post because it was our firsts of a lot of exciting things!

After our wedding and honeymoon, we came home and opened all our wedding presents with both of our families. We were so grateful for the many gifts we received from loving friends and family.

then the fun began. . .moving into our FIRST apartment!!! 

it was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun (we couldn't have done it without the help of our parents)

once we got all of our things moved in we headed off for our FIRST grocery store shopping experience together. . .we had two carts full of stuff that we needed, considering we had nothing in our fridge

we then went home and had our FIRST meal in our first apartment together

and among all the apartment moving, we were also decorating, copying papers, and getting everything ready for my FIRST day of teaching my 4th grade class :)

but we somehow pulled everything off

and we finally got everything moved into the apartment!

it is small, that's for sure

i think the bathroom is the smallest part of the whole place

and there ya go! Our FIRST of starting life together :) :)
