Here I am catching up again on our lives. This week I have had Spring Break, which has been a nice relaxing time from teaching. :). I am getting closer to being all caught up with our pictures and then hopefully I can just post as things happen from day to day. But for now. . .Here are some pictures from all the holidays that Andrew and I have had together since we have been married.
Celebrating the holidays together married have been 100 times better than when we have had to be apart :).
THANKSGIVING:
We switch off holidays between my house and Andrew's house now that we are married. This year, Thanksgiving was at my house and Christmas was at his.
Yummy Turkey :)
It was a lot of fun to have the family over and to spend time with everyone we hadn't seen in a while!
CHRISTMAS:
First Christmas FINALLY married. We got BYU pj's from the Woodmans.
The family in their Christmas pj's, getting ready to load into the van to go look at lights.
Andrew's family has a tradition of renting a big van that everyone piles into to go drive around to see all of the lights. They always stop at Thanksgiving Point's lights too. So fun!
Christmas morning. Andrew was more excited than his little sister Emma (she is still in elementary and Andrew is in college :)).
We got our Wii. . .Andrew was one happy boy!
Then we went over to Dan and Jessica's to open up the rest of our presents with them. Andrew got me one of my favorite Christmas movies, Holiday Inn, and ear phones for my Ipod.
I got Andrew a coat to walk around in while on campus. (I love his big smile in this picture).
The Woodman's Christmas dinner feast :)
Deviled Eggs are a tradition that Andrew's family does every year. This has been something new for me, since my family never makes these, but they are very yummy!
We ended the night by going over to visit my family. My mom and Rick got us a video camera. I was SOOOO excited :)
Matching pj's tradition. . .getting ready for New Years Eve to come :). Kissy Kissy!
NEW YEARS:
My family always celebrates New Years Eve with lots of food, fun, and games. New Years Day is my mom's birthday so this has always been a fun holiday for us.
Happy 2013!!
VALENTINES:
Andrew had so many tests on the week of Valentines that we didn't get to celebrate the special day until Valentines weekend. We went up to Salt Lake City, stayed at a hotel on Saturday night, went to the Roof for our Valentines dinner, and went to Music and the Spoken word in the morning. It was a fun little getaway!
Valentines Dinner at the Roof!
EASTER:
Last but not least. . .Easter! It was a lot of fun to color eggs with Andrew's family and see my little nieces run around outside collecting all the hidden eggs. We were able to have two full Easter meals at both of our families houses. YUM :)
I'm finally starting to show a little bit. We can't wait for our little girl to join our family soon.
Happy Holidays Everyone!
